Aaron directs AFT’s Genesee River Demonstration Farm Network and Rented Lands Conservation Incentives Program as well as other AFT initiatives in New York state. He has 17 years of experience coordinating and administering agricultural extension and research activities, most recently focusing on multi-partner projects related to soil health measurement, implementation, and adaptive nutrient management. Aaron is a two-time Peace Corps alum (Bolivia and Nicaragua). He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington and two master’s degrees from the University of California, Davis, in soils and biogeochemistry and international agricultural development.
